Puerto Del Sol -The Best Beach Resort in Bolinao Pangasinan

Puerto Del Sol Beach Resort and Hotel Club in Bolinao Pangasinan is one the best resort in the area. I’ve stayed in the resort when we had a familiarization tour back in college. I really love the place since then, combining good accommodation, great food and service.  It’s a perfect resort for those who want total relaxation while enjoying the beauty of nature.

The Lobby and Reception Area

This area is quit cozy for it has comfortable sofa with cable television to entertain you while waiting during check in and check out. Wifi access there is strong, so I stayed here when I need to upload something or just simple chat with my friends. 🙂

The Accommodation

The resort has 5 types of accommodation namely Mansion Villa, Bahay Kubo, Casitas, Famliy Room and Nipa Hut. They are fully air-conditioned, with mini refrigerator and Veranda. The Bahay Kubo and Casitas are with living room and opening dining area. With colored cable television, toilet and hot and cold bath/shower, tea and coffee set up, telephone and room service except Nipa Hut and Family Room.

We stayed in a Mansion Villa with 2 single bed, a pretty decent room with basic amenities. The room is ok except for the following: the television is not flat screen with only 2 cable channels, the HBO and Discovery Channel, there is no Wifi, you can access only at the lobby and in their restaurant but with weak  internet connection, The toothbrushes are upon request, I think its kinda weird for it should be a basic amenity. There is no microwave oven and blow dryer.

I’m a person who really love the element of water especially the pool or the sea, it so relaxing to see the clear water and enjoy a relaxing dip. The pool is clean and wide therefore you can swim your heart out while in this resort.

You can also relax and unwind in the jacuzzi.

The Restaurant

Cafe Del Sol, Al Fresco and La Playa are the food and beverage outlets you can choose to have a taste of  their mouthwatering dishes and refreshing drinks.

The Food and Service

The resort provides great food and service. The staff are very friendly and welcomes you with a warm smile whenever you dine at the restaurant. They are offering plated breakfast which is I like for the food is freshly prepared and cooked when you order it.

Filipino Breakfast

For my first breakfast at the resort, I ordered the Filipino breakfast, I choose Adobong Manok and Sunny Side Up Eggs with Coffee. I love this breakfast for its really fresh and delicious! The crunchy garlic on the chicken adds to the overall taste of the entire meal given I like the taste of the garlic.

Continental Breakfast

I choose Continental breakfast for my second breakfast, I like the meal because its something different for me. The scrambled eggs, pancakes and hash brown are perfectly cooked. Added to it is toasted bread with strawberry jam and marmalade. I love also the sliced fresh fruits! 😀

Dinner at La Playa

We enjoyed these dishes during our stay at the resort. All the dishes are really delicious! I want to comment on each dishbut I think I will just say the same thing “DELICIOUS!”  Kudos to their Chef! LOVE THE FOOD! 😀

The leche flan can be improved, the texture is kindly rough, make it more smooth. 🙂

 

The Beach

Puerto Del Sol has a wide beach front with semi-white sand with shallow water but don’t cross the breakwater for its about 50 feet deep. The water is quit clean so you can enjoy a relaxing dip while enjoying the view of the West Philippine Sea.

While enjoying your stay at the resort, you can do the activities like volleyball, badminton, swimming, billiards, table tennis, videoke, snorkeling, kayak, canoe, discovery scuba and diving.

Enjoy the nature by having a tour with different attractions in the area as they offer land tour, boat tour, and hundred island tour.

Spa Services

The resort also offer full body massage, reflexology, body milk scrub, foot spa, manicure and pedicure.
