Manila: Nobu Hotel – A City of Dreams Experience

Nobu Hotel City of Dreams Manila is a boutique hotel in collaboration with Chef Nobu Matsuhisa and Nobu Hospitality partners including Robert DeNiro and film producer Meir Teper. This elegant hotel is located in the heart of the City accessible to the Manila International Airport(NAIA), Mall of Asia, Rizal Park, Manila Zoo, National Museum, Intramuros and other nearby attractions.

We stayed in a Deluxe Room with the city view of Roxas Boulevard and NAIA runway or the City of Dreams pool. The hotel rooms are elegant with minimalist Japanese interior yet functional facilities and amenities. The Double Queen beds are perfect for 2 persons to have a comfortable and relaxing stay.

The bathroom is clean and spacious enough which is loaded with basic toiletries for grooming and bath. The towels are placed in a wooden rack giving you the sense of minimalist characterized by the overall feel of the hotel.

What I love about this hotel is that it offer exclusive Natura Bisse bath amenities for a refreshing bath experience. As a business traveller and blogger it’s important for be to have a fast and reliable wifi connection and Nobu Hotel didn’t disappoint me. I was able to do my business during my stay without problems in my connectivity. I can check my emails, do some work that fast internet connection is needed.

Nobu Restaurant

The world’s most recognized Japanese restaurant, known for its innovative new-style cuisine, paired with a hip crowd and celebrity following. This restaurant offers Nobu-unique modern Japanese dishes fused with Peruvian influences. The restaurant has a cozy yet elegant look added to the hospitality of the waitstaff that will make your food even more delectable.

During our stay, we partake in Nobu Restaurant’s breakfast buffet, the selection is decent enough to fill your tummy to start the day. You can choose from different stations such as omelette, pancake and french toast, bread and pastries, cereals, fruits and salad. Sausages and bacon are available in the omelette station. It’s an American Style breakfast, nonetheless rice is also available.

Ofcourse I go to the Salad and Fruit stations first to check what they got before checking other stations. I still got good choices for health conscious people like me and i’m perfectly happy about it. 🙂

If you love desserts and pastries, then Nobu Restaurant breakfast buffet is for you as they got numerous items that will surely satisfy your sweet tooth cravings.

Personally I love the french toast, omelette, pancake and the salad and fruits to start the day right with a healthy yet filling breakfast. This is my plate, it’s a right mix of greens, protein and some carbs, the way I like it! 🙂

The restaurant is located in Level 1 Nobu North Tower, Breakfast is served 6:00 AM – 10:30 AM from Mondays to Saturdays and 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM during Sundays, Sunday Brunch is served at 11:30 AM – 3:00 PM. After that delightful breakfast, it’s time to explore the hotel and take some nice photos. Nobu Hotel is picturesque in every corner so you will surely find a nice spot to strike a pose. The pool area is one of those places with the crazy rich asian feels as the hotel building is in gold color.

I got the chance to have a refreshing dip in the City of Dreams pool. If you want to have a nice photo in this area make sure to wake up early in the morning around 6am-8am to avoid the photobombers in the background capturing a nice photo of the pool.
