Binulo Restaurant offers different Campampangan dishes and steaks. The name of the restaurant is from the word Binulo which how the Aetas cook their food using a bamboo stalk. This restaurant is famous as celebrities of Eat Bulaga and others dine here. They are also featured in Byahe ni Drew, a food and travel show.
This is one of the favorite, I love the combination of shrimps, salted egg, peanuts, tomatoes and paco drizzled with bagoong.
This dish is ok, it will be more delectable if it is more crispier. A good appetizer.
The signature rice of the restaurant is sticky rice wrapped in banana leaf and cook in Binulo or the bamboo stalk. The rice is so aromatic . You can pair it with any dish.
Their version of famous Kapampangan sisig is a bit dry. Adding chicken liver will make this dish a winner especially with steamed rice.
Binukadkad na Hito
The fish is perfectly fried complimented with ampalaya, mustasa and burong asan “fermented rice with fish“, one of the specialty also in Pampanga.
This dish is very flavorful, love the bagoong and how the pork is cooked, very crispy.
Pangat na Olang
This dish is just ok, I’m longing for a flavorful broth, but as Manong driver said the taste of the Olang is just plain compare to Prawn which has the distinct seafood flavor.
Kare Kareng Baka
Love this dish. The rich and creamy peanut sauce is perfectly combined with beef which is very tender, the vegetable are cooked properly. The bagoong on the side is great also.
A very delicious dessert end our Binulo Restaurant dining experience, a perfect combination of sweetness of ripped mango, ice cream and texture of the suman.
Binulo Restaurant is a perfect place if you want to taste the best of Capampangan Cuisine. They have a wide array of dishes that everyone can enjoy.
