Gustav Cafe is a French-themed restaurant in Angeles and San Fernando City which offers Italian, French and other international cuisines. A wide selection of beverages is also serve such as frappe, coffee and alcoholic drinks.
A Little Bit of History
The restaurant was named after the engineer of Eiffel Tower (French: La Tour Eiffel) who is Gustave Eiffel, the iconic tower of Paris which is located in Camp de Mars and built in 1889. This tower serves as the symbol or icon of Paris France.

Ambiance
The ambiance of this place is very cozy, I just love the comfortable chairs which are classic at the same time. The use of earth colors is all over the place evident with the furniture and fixture perfectly matched with a slightly dim lighting from the lamps. Decorated also with huge curtains which gives the place a more elegant look. And ofcourse the iconic replica of the Eiffel Tower is display outside and inside the restaurant.
The Dining Area
Food
It is my second time to dine in this restaurant so I know that the food here is sumptuous. They have a wide selection of delectable international dishes and beverages in their menu. Some of the popular dishes are pasta, pizza and steak. Gustav Cafe also offer different beverages such as coffee, frappe, shakes, smoothies and alcoholic drinks.
Mustard Crusted Chicken with Mushroom Cream
Since I love chicken, I ordered this dish, the chicken is well cooked and texture is perfect, juicy on the inside and crunchy and tasty on the outside. The use of seasoning and herbs complements the taste of the chicken. The mushroom cream is good also, the taste of the cream and mustard is battling. This dish is paired with mashed potato,vegetable sticks and crispy noodle. I love this hearty and healthy dish!
Sans Rival with Toasted Almonds
This dessert is delicious but I think its too sweet, though most Sans Rival are like that. What I love also about this dessert is that the toasted almonds are all over the cake. I like play of texture and sweetness of this dessert.
Pistachio Ice Cream
I love ice cream, I haven’t tasted the Pistachio flavor so this is my first time to taste this one. It’s not too sweet which is I like, the Pistachio bits adds to the texture. I think the chocolate syrup is not necessary for this dessert, anyway it did not spoil the overall taste, :). I simply like this dessert.

Gustav Cafe is a perfect restaurant to hang out with family and friends. The food is great, good service and a cozy ambiance will make your dining experience a great one! I will definitely go back to try their pizza!
