The grandest northern food festival is set to happen on October 18-20, 2013 at MarQuee Mall, Angeles City in Pampanga, which is known to be the Culinary Capital of the Philippines. This event is definitely a must go for all foodies out there.
Some of the reasons why you should not miss this event is that famous chefs and celebrities will take the stage and share their expertise like Chef Rolando Laudico, Chef Sau del Rosario, Sabrina Artadi and Mrs. Lilian Borromeo. A Culinary Cook Off will also happen as different schools of the north will battle it out from 3-5 pm for 3 days. You can also join the heirloom recipe contest and get a chance to win Php20, 000. Eating contest and live entertainment will surely add a spice for all those who will attend the food festival.
More than 100 merchants will showcase different delectable products Pampanga, Metro Manila, Baguio, Bataan, Bulacan, Cagayan, Ilocos, La Union, Nueva Ecija, Tarlac, Pangasinan and Zambales.

During the Sneak Peak of Big Bite last October 9, some food merchants give us a taste on what we can expect on the food festival. Some of Pampanga’s famous participating food brands are Nathaniel’s,Kabigting’s Halo-Halo, ApagMarangle, Pampanga’s Best and Susie’s Cuisine filled our stomachs will delicious dishes. Dishes from Bulacan, Nueva Ecija and Pangasinan are also served during the event.

October 18, 2013 – Grand Launching of Big Bite
The Big Bite! Northern Food Festival officially started, different personalities graced the event. Food stalls are now open to give everyone a taste of the north!
Umagang Kay Ganda hosted the opening of the event together with some celebrities like Robi Domingo, DJ Chacha and the hosts of the said morning program Winnie Cordero and Ariel Ureta and chefs like Chef Rolando Laudico, Chef Sau del Rosario and Mrs. Lilian Borromeo. Vicky Vega, the Vice Mayor of Angeles City also present to join the launching.
Different colleges also participated in the said event in which they will compete on the Cook Off Competition.
